Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Ex twice unified boxing king Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
Despite these statements, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - normally famous for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's greatest financial successes, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity evident, it drove home just how unlikely this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is truly going ahead.
